Prayers for the Beatification of
Servant of God don Stefano Gobbi
A prayer asking for Fr Gobbi’s intercession has been composed and approved
by the Diocese of Como. This is the only prayer that is officially approved by the Diocese.
There is another prayer that has to been made by some MMP priests,
but it is still waiting for approval by the Diocese.

Prayer for the Beatification of
Servant of God
Fr. Stéfano Gobbi
O Most Holy Trinity, we thank You for having given to the Church and to the world Your Priest servant Don Stefano Gobbi. In Your infinite Mercy, for his humble and total yes to You, You made him a true witness of faith in You, the One and Triune God. In his unconditional yes, O Father, he was a courageous witness of Your Love; in his consistent and passionate proclamation of the Gospel, he was a shining and true image of You, Divine Son Jesus, for his people. For his total abandonment to You, O Holy Spirit, he became, in his priestly apostolate, a fruitful minister for Your Bride, a herald of Mercy, and a defender of Truth, always in communion with the Pope and in obedience to the Church.
In him, O God, You made shine the true devotion, filial love, and infinite trust towards Your Holy Mother, to whose Immaculate Heart and for her triumph in the world, as a little apostle, he consecrated himself and in whom he encouraged all to trust. In Mary, he pointed out the sure guide to the Lord Jesus and, in Him, to You.
For this shining example of faith and humility, and for the gifts You have bestowed upon him, through his intercession we ask You, O Most Holy Trinity, to grant us the grace ................................., but remaining always abandoned to Your will, as he taught us.
Finally, Lord, we implore You that soon the Church may propose him as an example for all Your holy people.
And you, beloved Don Stefano, continue to intercede for everyone, so that, imitating you and supported by you, we may continue on our journey to Heaven on the sure Way you indicated to us: Jesus Christ.
